Where are my glasses? was the first show Anna self produced. Anna was able to build support around the show, finding partners and co-producers. She discovered producing provided a different connection to the creative process.

She was invited to join the "Optimists" program by China Plate to raise the profile of Latinx producers in the UK and since then Anna has expanded her producing portfolio.

She has worked with artists, community art projects, mentoring, curation of events. Supporting artists in self-performance and within teams. As well acting as a soundboard for creative ideas.

Underpinning her work as a producer is a passionate and clear approach to complex ideas and challenges.

Anna’s day rate starts at £250 per day.

My Uncle is not Pablo Escobar

Latinx Women from South London take centre stage and dare you to call them invisible.

My Uncle is Not Pablo Escobar follows a group of activists as they challenge injustice and fight for the representation they deserve.

The work began with conversations between The Advocacy Academy alumni, activists Valentina Andrade and Elizabeth Alvarado along with Creative Director Tom Ross Williams.

They talked about using theatre as a way to amplify the campaign for Lantix rights in the UK, lead by activist collective LatinXcluded.

My Uncle is Not Pablo Escobar exists not only a show but stands as a body of work in allyship, activism and grassroots community organising.

This innovative project weaves traditional playwriting with direct action and a live-art aesthetic. It captures the urgency of an activist rally and the celebration of a festival. It brings together the creators’ experience as theatre-makers, campaigners and activists.

Our work explores dual identity, class and gender. Anna’s role was as trainee producer for the production and outreach of the project.
