Anna is a British Latinx performer, choreographer, movement director and educator. She works with creative teams supporting movement, dance and body connectivity through creating dynamic movement vocabularies that can be performed across diverse spaces.
A pioneer in her hybrid movement language combining Tango and contemporary dance, her work explores connectivity in movement, interrogating the ways that we use our bodies, our relationship with the UK, the environment and the third spaces created by being in between cultures, races and the complexity this presents.
Underpinning all the work is the idea that space is bound up with power, politics and can be transformed.
Movement director and choreographer
Anna is a movement director, artist and researcher working with the body in dance, theatre, somatic movement and connection to the environment.
Anna works in the fields of theatre, dance, opera, motion capture, fashion, film and visual arts working as part of creative teams or as a consultant.
Teaching
Anna is a skilled, inclusive facilitator creating spaces for shared experiences with professional and non-professional performers alike.
Creative Producing and Consultancy
Anna began creative producing in a wish to see diverse work on stage and see the Latinx diaspora represented.
She now works with a range of artists and community groups supporting them on through their creative process.
